How to Use Swarail (Railone) App?

The Swarail (Railone) App is designed to make Indian Railways services more accessible by combining key features like ticket booking, live train tracking, food ordering, parcel management, and customer support into a single mobile application. This guide will help you get started and use it with ease on both Android and iOS.

1. Getting Started

Download the App:

  • For Android users: Visit the Google Play Store, search for “Swarail,” and install the app.
  • For iOS users: Go to the Apple App Store, search for “Swarail,” and tap “Get” to download.

Install and Launch:
Once installed, open the app and allow the necessary permissions like location and notifications for full functionality.

2. Register or Log In

  • If you already have an IRCTC account, log in using your existing username and password.
  • New users can create an account using their mobile number and complete the OTP verification process.
  • After login, set up biometric access (Fingerprint or Face ID) or create a 4-digit m-PIN for quick login.

3. Home Screen Overview

The Swarail home screen offers quick access to key services such as:

  • Book Tickets (Reserved & Unreserved)
  • Track Train
  • Order Food
  • Parcel Services
  • Rail Madad (Customer Support)

You can navigate through these using the bottom menu bar or shortcut buttons on the home screen.

4. Booking Tickets

Reserved Tickets:

  • Tap “Book Tickets” and choose “Reserved”.
  • Enter the source and destination stations, travel date, and preferred class.
  • Select a train and review seat availability and fare.
  • Add passenger details and complete the payment using UPI, Cards, or Net Banking.
  • The e-ticket will be saved in “My Bookings.”

Unreserved Tickets:

  • Choose “Unreserved Ticket” for local or general class travel.
  • Select journey type and make a quick payment.
  • A QR-based ticket will be generated and stored in the app.

5. Tracking Trains in Real-Time

  • Go to the “Track Train” section.
  • Enter the train number or name.
  • View live train status, platform number, delay alerts, and next station updates.
  • You can also set alerts for your train’s arrival time.

6. Ordering Food on Train

  • Tap “Order Food” and choose your boarding station.
  • Browse available restaurants and menus.
  • Select items, choose delivery timing, and pay online or opt for cash on delivery.
  • Your food will be delivered to your seat at the selected station.

7. Parcel and Freight Booking

  • Activate parcel services from the settings.
  • Go to “Parcel Services” to plan, book, or track shipments.
  • Use the freight calculator to estimate shipping costs.
  • Monitor parcel status and shipment delivery from within the app.

8. Using Rail Madad (Customer Support)

  • Select “Rail Madad” from the home screen.
  • Choose the issue type (train, station, ticket, or service).
  • Submit the complaint with optional images or details.
  • Track the resolution status through the app.

9. Profile & App Settings

  • Tap on the “Profile” icon to view and update your personal details.
  • Enable or manage biometric login, m-PIN, saved routes, and notification preferences.
  • Switch between languages (if available) and log out from multiple devices securely.
